Subject:
Pensionable Age

Comments:
I believe that pensionable age should be calculated on the basis of one's working and contributory history. It is unfair that someone who has been working (& therefore contributing NI & tax to state coffers) should have the same retirement age as a person who finished university and started working at age 30 for example. It is patently unfair that the former has been working & contributing for 49 years, the latter would only have been working and contributing for 35 years. I suggest that a minimum and a maximum working span be calculated (say a minimum of 40 years and a maximum of 50 years for example) to establish a minimum and maximum pensionable age.
